A review provides management with detailed reports that outlines current internal control and accounting procedures and will offer ways to improve operations, and lessen exposure risk loss probability. 
Basic Review – Review and evaluate the entities and activities of the cash receipts system.

Management Review - An management review may involve one or more of the following; Review and evaluate operating information and the various ways used to classify, identify, measure, and report the information; review companies policy of how they are safeguarding assets; identify and report if results are consistent with management's objectives and goals and if the operations are being carried out as planned.

Financial Review - Review and evaluate the accounting and reporting of financial transactions, authorizations and receipts, disbursement of funds, loans and commitments. Advise management how to better safe guard assets.  May consist of but not limited too, confirming bank statements with cancelled checks, invoices and statements, and investigating fraud.
